Delivery

All Internet Deliveries are made via Crane Vehicles or Hiabs. (We do not use a pallet
network delivering kerbside)
All orders are delivered by ourselves either with a HGV Hiab lorry or small Hiab van. Please
specify and the checkout option to help us determine what size vehicle to send. As
standard, for all allotment deliveries a Hiab van will be sent. If there are over hanging wires
or trees on your property the crane can not be used and the goods will be left in a roadside
location.

Checklist before placing your order

• A minimum width of 3 metres is required for vehicle access
• Delivery access free of any obstacles such as low cables or over hanging trees
• As a minimum deliveries will be left kerbside

When do we deliver to you?
We group all deleveries into delivery days -this is based on your postal code. We aim to
make all of our deliveries on the delivery day given at the point of order, however please
note that all deliveries are subject to weather conditions and stock.

Offloading your products

All deliveries are offloaded using a Hiab /Crane. We will always do our best to get the goods
to your specified location, however this can not always be guaranteed due to possible
obstacles blocking acess.
Please note that it is completely down to the driver’s discretion whether or not he deems
the delivery location safe.

Contact

On the day of delivery the driver will call in advance to confirm with an eta/notify when on
route. If you are unable to reach the driver for an update , please contact a member of the
Richardson garden supplies team in regards to your delivery on 07501848088 and we will
be happy to help.

Delivery Terms

Before placing your order it is key that as the customer you understand and take full
responsibility of this important delivery information.
The delivery vehicles need a safe access point for unloading, please ensure all obstrcutions
are moved for the arrival of your goods. Please note we will not travel off road on any
uneven surface to reach a desired location for the goods to be offloaded. If this is the case
the vehicle will deliver kerbside.
Once you have selected your desired delivery address at the postcode checker the website
will work out an exact cost. Our bulk bags are non-returnable and we would like to
encourage the recycling of all such products.
Richardson garden supplies is keen to meet its customers individual delivery requests and
we will always do our utmost to satisfy these demands. Customers do not need to be
present to receive the delivery- please leave some information in the delivery notes section
to help ensure we deliver in the desired location. However, we accept no liability for any
damage, theft or deterioration to the items delivered.
Richardson garden supplies will not accept liability for non-delivery, where this is caused by
circumstances beyond its control. If the delivery is unable to be completed or refused by the
customer, the customer will be responsible for the delivery cost and any cost incurred by
Richardson garden supplies to have the goods returned.
